We're delighted to announce that Lorraine from Daisy cottage farm will be doing cookery demonstrations on the day.
Here's what she'll be cooking:
A beer, red onion and cheese loaf
And
A lemon and berry cake with an elderflower drizzle, this one will be gluten free.
The North Eastern Simmental Club will host their calf finals at Trim Show on Sunday 3rd September. These calves will all be top quality as they went through qualifiers at their local shows throughout the Summer.
Classes are as follows:
-Lakeland Dairies Senior Male born between 01/08/22 and 31/10/22
-Liffey Meats Senior Female born between 01/08/22 and 31/10/22
-ABP Junior Male born between 01/11/22 and 31/01/23
-Corby Rock Junior Female born between 01/11/22 and 31/01/23
-Progressive Genetics February onwards bull calf
-David Taylor Animal Nutrition February onwards heifer calf
-Nitrofert Overall Calf Champion

The Leinster Aberdeen Angus club are grateful to The Royal Meath Show for hosting the 2023 Leinster Aberdeen Angus club calf finals.
These finals couldn't happen without the sponsorship of Country Crest Foods and Certifed Irish Angus producer group.
There will be 5 classes on the day, for calves born from August onwards both male and female, which promises to be a spectacular display of Angus cattle.
The judge on the day is Alan Morrison from Drummeer Angus in Co.Fermanagh
