Your safety as an exhibitor at our show is very important to us. We ask for your co-operation in ensuring there is a clear way for emergency vehicles all the way around the show field. Parking restrictions will be in place on the show day, please respect the instructions of our stewards.

The Artisan Village is back this year by popular demand offering a wonderful selection of crafts, foods and treats which are sure to appeal to all tastes. With separate food and craft tents this ever expanding area is a must visit for those wanting to treat a loved one or enjoy the very best that our local artisanal producers have to offer.

This year we're delighted to welcome television's chef Shane Smith who will be doing cookery demonstrations on the day.

Master Pastry Chef, Shane Smith has nearly 20 years’ experience working in some of the world’s most celebrated pastry kitchens across the globe.
Shane also works closely with Coole Swan Irish Liquor as a consultant and lead recipe developer for the renowned Irish cream liqueur and has exclusively published recipes in 16 of the company’s signature cookery books.
He is a regular contributor to, voted Best Digital Food Magazine in the World, along with well-known national publications including Image & Food & Wine magazine and the Sunday Business Post. Shane also writes a monthly column for the Angle Celt newspaper.
Throughout his career, having worked in prestigious kitchens including, The G Hotel, Eden Restaurant and Fallon & Byrne, Shane has gained skills and techniques from some of the best pastry lecturers and chefs in the country. Today his culinary repertoire and technical skills are second to none and Shane is passionate about passing on his knowledge to the next generation of Pastry Chefs.
In September 2015, Shane was awarded the title of “Best Bakery Manager in Ireland” in conjunction with Shelflife magazine and made a number of guest appearances at some of Ireland’s most prestigious food festivals including Taste of Dublin, Bloom, Taste of Cavan and many more.
Shane was the first ever pastry guest editor for Easy Food Magazine August 2018 and was also included in the top 10 pastry chefs in Ireland by Food & Wine magazine 2018.
Shane also has a regular cookery slot on Saturday & Sunday AM, TV3 where he can be seen bringing his natural flare and love for all things sweet to the nation’s homes.
